You need to aim the attack JUST under the rock, but high enough so that the falling arrow hits Manus. It’s bit complicated to aim, but after 10 or so arrows you’ll zero in and can attack Manus from here. If Manus is killed that way, his Drop will appear in your inventory like in normal play.
Is Manus resistant to dark magic?

Whilst Sif’s attacks are not very damaging, the extra summon can keep Manus distracted and give the player time to heal. Without wearing the ring, it is impossible to survive the fall into the Abyss. Taking off the ring during the fight with the Four Kings will cause the player to be devoured by the Abyss.

The next attacks are with his hand, he has a few here that sweeps the arena in an arc, just roll away to dodge it, the next is a slam, which you can dodge simply by rolling off to the side. The next attack is the jumping slam, which will knock you back.
What kind of damage does Manus do?
Manus lets out a quick scream which makes him mad, then performs four swipes and two downward smashes, potentially hitting the player six times. This deals high damage, and drains a lot of stamina if blocked.

Is Manus the last boss?
Manus is the final boss of the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. He is encountered in the Chasm of the Abyss. It is possible to summon the past version of Great Gray Wolf Sif to aid in the battle. Sif’s summon sign is found in the arena where the player fights Manus, inside the fog door.
Is Knight Artorias weak to lightning?
wiki says he’s weak to lightning but I do sooo little damage per hit that it takes a long time to kill him. my dex is at around 28/29 iirc so I’m thinking the scaling would help.
Why does Sif guard Artorias grave?
When Artorias was swallowed by the Abyss, he threw up his Greatshield to protect Sif, as he could no longer bear it with his arm broken. Now, Sif guards their fallen comrade’s grave and his ring, to ensure that what happened to Artorias, doesn’t happen to anyone else.
