What DLC 3?

The course develops the leadership skills needed to lead a platoon size element and to make quick, accurate decisions that are in the best interest of the mission and Soldiers. DLC III is a prerequisite for the Senior Leader Course (SLC).

What happens if I dont complete DLC 2?

FAILURE TO COMPLETED DLC 2 AFTER 24 MONTHS COULD RESULT IN A DA BAR TO CONTINUED SERVICE. BETWEEN 1 FEBRUARY AND 30 SEPTEMBER 2019, SSD 1 AND SSD 2 AND DLC 1 AND DLC 2 WILL RUN CONCURRENTLY IN THE ARMY LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ALMS). SOLDIERS WILL HAVE 24 MONTHS FROM DATE OF ENROLLMENT TO COMPLETE DLC 2.

Can you backdate a flag in the Army?

Supervisors, 1st SGTs, schools NCOs, or even the individual Soldier can contact HRC if for some reason they were not automatically enrolled as per the above mentioned business rules. SELF-ENROLLMENT into a Distributed Leader Course (DLC) is NOT AUTHORIZED or even possible.

How do I enroll my soldiers in DLCs?

DLC enrollments are handled by HRC and Command Quota Managers. Soldiers will/should be automatically enrolled into DLCs upon promotion to the course’s target level as long as they have not completed the equivalent SSD course.
