What is NSKeyedArchiver?

What is NSKeyedArchiver?

Overview. NSKeyedArchiver , a concrete subclass of NSCoder , provides a way to encode objects (and scalar values) into an architecture-independent format suitable for storage in a file. When you archive a set of objects, the archiver writes the class information and instance variables for each object to the archive.

What is NSKeyedUnarchiver?

NSKeyedUnarchiver is a concrete subclass of NSCoder that defines methods for decoding a set of named objects (and scalar values) from a keyed archive. The NSKeyedArchiver class produces archives that this class can decode.

What is a NSCoder?

NSCoder declares the interface used by concrete subclasses to transfer objects and other values between memory and some other format. This capability provides the basis for archiving (storing objects and data on disk) and distribution (copying objects and data items between different processes or threads).

How do you serialize data on iOS?

As there is no built-in class for XML serialization in iOS, we will have to serialize the data into XML format manually:

  1. Think about the XML structure of your objects.
  2. Construct the XML-string. // Create the header.
  3. Write the string to a file. NSString *path = [[CBSerializationController applicationDocumentsDirectory].path.

What is Nssecurecoding?

A protocol that enables encoding and decoding in a manner that is robust against object substitution attacks.

What is Codable?

Codable is a type alias for the Encodable and Decodable protocols. When you use Codable as a type or a generic constraint, it matches any type that conforms to both protocols.

What is nsutf8stringencoding?

An 8-bit representation of Unicode characters, suitable for transmission or storage by ASCII-based systems.

How do I decode a Swift code?

Format of a SWIFT/BIC number.

  1. Bank code A-Z 4 letters representing the bank.
  2. Country code A-Z 2 letters representing the country the bank is in.
  3. Location code 0-9 A-Z 2 characters made up of letters or numbers.
  4. Branch Code 0-9 A-Z 3 digits specifying a particular branch.

What is serialization in IOS?

2019. Serialization is a process of converting your instances to another representation, like a string or a stream of bytes. The reverse process of turning the data into an instance is called decoding, or deserialization.

What is Nsitemprovider?

An item provider for conveying data or a file between processes during drag-and-drop or copy/paste activities, or from a host app to an app extension.

What is Codable data?

What is Codable? Codable is to convert the JSON data object to an actual Swift class or struct and vice versa. It’s usually used when the case you wanna retrieve or parse JSON data from the server like the APIs.

What is Codable in iOS Swift?

In Swift, the Codable protocol is used to go from a JSON data object to an actual Swift class or struct. This is called decoding, because the JSON data is decoded into a format that Swift understands. It also works the other way: encoding Swift objects as JSON.

Can I look up a SWIFT code?

You can usually find your bank’s SWIFT/BIC code in your bank account statements. You also can use our SWIFT/BIC finder to get the right code for your transfer.

What is my SWIFT code?

The SWIFT code is always located at the front of your bank account number. Different from the bank code which made of 3 digits numbers; SWIFT code is a combination of capital letters and numbers that make between 8 and 11 digits sequence.
